At present, the trains will be operated normally again after the repair and inspection of damaged parts of the railway sections between Naungpattaya and Kali railway stations although water has receded. In addition, the trains’ reoperation date will be presented on time.
On 10 October, the Mawlamyine- Yangon 82 Down train departing from Myawlamyine and the Yangon- Mawlamyine 81 Up train departing from Yangon were temporarily cancelled due to the flooding of the railway route.
