Air Chief Marshal of Royal Thai Air Force and delegation welcomed with guard of honour

At the invitation of the Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, a delegation led by Air Chief Marshal Punpakdee Pattanakul and wife arrived in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning on an official goodwill visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and high-ranking officers from Tatmadaw (Air), the Thai military attaché to Myanmar, and officials welcomed them at Nay Pyi Taw airport.
The delegation led by the Air Chief Marshal of the Royal Thai Air Force went to the Memorial to the Fallen Heroes (Nay Pyi Taw) and paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the country and Tatmadaw by paying tribute in front of the monument (Shrine for Valiant Soldiers), and the Air Chief Marshal of the Royal Thai Air Force signed in the guest book.
Air Chief Marshal of the Royal Thai Air Force Punpakdee Pattanakul was welcomed by Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung with a guard of honour yesterday afternoon at the Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw.
The Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung and the Air Chief Marshal of the Royal Thai Air Force first took the salute from the Guard of Honour and inspected the guard.
The air force officers of the two countries who attended the ceremony were introduced to each other, and the Air Chief Marshal of the Royal Thai Air Force signed in the guest book at the Bayintnaung Villa.
Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung then had a discussion with the goodwill delegation led by Air Chief Marshal of the Royal Thai Air Force at the reception hall of Bayintnaung Villa.
Both sides frankly and openly discussed issues related to Myanmar-Thailand mutual friendship visits, sending trainees to further improve the relationship between the two air forces of the two countries, relief measures against natural disasters, technical information exchange, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR).
In the evening, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung hosted a dinner for the delegation led by the Air Chief Marshal of the Royal Thai Air Force and his wife at Jasmine Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw. — MNA/TS
