Aung La N Sang makes quick finish over Brazilian Galvao in ONE’s fight

Aung La N Sang secured a first-round TKO (technical knockout) after smashing Brazilian strong fighter Gilberto Galvao in the 215-pound catchweight MMA challenge of ONE Championship event named ONE FIGHT NIGHT 6 held at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand yesterday. Galvao tried to take Aung La down early in the match and tried to win with a choke but his tactic was ineffective. With massive Jujitsu skills, Galvao tried to pin Aung La down three times, but he was hurt by Aung La’s strikes and punches instead.
In Galvao’s last attempt, he was able to take Aung La close to the ring-fence, but lost his momentum and fell, whereupon Aung La landed the win with a series of heavy punches. With the victory and overall winning record of 29-13, ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong presented USD 50,000 bonus to Aung La N Sang for his dominant fights.Aung La N Sang’s match was considered one of the most popular fight cards of the ONE FIGHT NIGHT 6 by ONE Championship presenters and announcers. Before the start of the fight, Aung La N Sang entered the MMA ring accompanied by the Myanmar song named “Amel Lite Aka” (dance for hunting) by the singer Lay Phyu. Myanmar fans in Thailand came to support Aung La N Sang and cheered loudly upon his victory. — KZL
