AYA, UAB to disburse K1.2 bln MSME loan to Danyingon wholesale market’s sellers

AYA Bank and UAB Bank will provide MSME loans worth K1.2 billion to the sellers from the Danyingon Wholesale Market for the first time.
Each seller is entitled to take out a K5 million to K10 million loan to expand businesses by presenting necessary documents. The first phase of this loan will cover 60 sellers.
The loan term is set from one to two years. The interest rate per annum is 9.5 per cent and 10.5 per cent depending on the loan type (secured and unsecured loan).
Those who wish to apply for a loan must have three shops running in the market. The tax payment receipt, business receipt, citizenship scrutiny card of the applicant and recommendation letter of the business are required. — TWA/KK
