Bago Shwemawdaw to host 2,606th Buddha Pujaniya festival

The Buddha Pujaniya festival will kick off at the Shwemawdaw Pagoda in Bago Township from 18 to 27 April, with a large number of pilgrims, according to Shwemawdaw Pagoda Board of Trustees.
Individuals interested in selling goods or providing various games for children can contact the pagoda board of trustees.
The festival will feature good deeds programmes, selling goods, and fun activities with a large number of visitors, including an offering ceremony of rice and other offerings to Sayadaws.
The previous 2,605th Buddha Pujaniya Festival was held from 30 March to 8 April for 10 days. — TWA/MKKS
