Blood donation ceremony held to mark Diamond Jubilee Independence Day in Bahan Tsp

A blood donation ceremony marking Diamond Jubilee Independence Day was held at Jivita Dhana Sangha Hospital at the corner of Koh Min Koh Chin and Wingaba roads in Bo Cho 1 Ward of Bahan Township in Yangon Region yesterday.
The collective blood donation event was led by township administrative officials and attended by authorities, township-level departmental officials, hospital chairman and staff, doctors and nurses from National Blood Bank, NGOs, ward administrators and blood donors.
A total of 52 — 38 males and 14 females — including monks, nuns, departmental staff, township red cross society members, reserved firefighters and social welfare association members donated blood at the event. — Sanda Htay (IPRD)/KTZH
