Bomb attacks occur at education office, schools and universities across the country

Terrorists have committed acts of sabotage such as bomb attacks at education offices, basic education high schools and universities that are preparing to provide annual education.
On 6 May, a bomb attack happened in the staff housing of the University of Medicine in Mandalay; Yazadirit housing in Yangon; in front of the Central provost unit in Mingaladon and in Hayman village in Lewe, Nay Pyi Taw.Bom 1 NS
Yesterday, terrorists attacked with a grenade in Lethit village in Myingyan Township; Thazi ward in Bhamo Township; the Myanmar Agriculture Development Bank, ward administration offices, No (2) Basic Education High School, in Kayan Township, office of the Director of Rural Development in Kayan Township; Office of the Labour, Immigration and Population Department and the township legal office in Pyigyitagun Township; between 64th and 65th streets, 30th and 31st streets and at the regional officer’s office of Myanmar Insurance on 63rd street between 34th and 35th streets in Chanayethazan Township; at the Township Development office in Myittha Township, Mandalay Region; at the Township Police Station in ChaungU Township, Sagaing Region; ward administration office in the ward (2) and the Township Education Office in Kawkareik Township in Kayin State.

Similarly, security forces had to deactivate the homemade mines set up at the public places and university compounds and the township education offices in Shwebo, Mawlamyine, Nay Pyi Taw Council Territory, Tamway, Thakayta townships on 6 May.
It is reported that investigations are underway to identify and take actions against the perpetrators under the law. — MNA
