Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister visits Shwedagon Pagoda

Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Mr Prak Sokhonn and party visit Shwedagon Pagoda on 3 July.

A delegation led by Mr Prak Sokhonn, Special Envoy of the Alternate Chair of ASEAN on Myanmar Deputy Prime Minister Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia visited Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon yesterday morning.
First, the guest and party signed the visitors’ book at the southern reception hall and donated flowers, water and oil lamps to the pagoda.
Members of the Pagoda Board of Trustees returned a photo of the Shwedagon Pagoda and a record book as a gift.
Next, the guest and party toured the platform and donated cash to the fund of the pagoda.
In the afternoon, the Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister left Yangon to Bagan by air to attend the 7th Mekong-Lanchang Cooperation Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.—MNA
