Capacity-building programme helps ease technological difficulties in trading and cut costs without delaying process and market trust

The National Quality Infrastructure of Myanmar comprises standardization, accreditation, metrology, testing and certification, and it needs to focus on sustainable development with guidance and recommendation of members of the National Skill Standards Council, said Chairman of the Council Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw at the ceremony to mark the World Standards Day in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning. Myanmar has joined the Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation and the Asia Pacific Metrology Programme as a member to carry out the work process for firm standing. A capacity-building programme will help ease technological difficulties in trading and cut costs without delaying process and market trust.
Then, the message of Secretary General Mr Sergio Mujica of the International Organization for Standardization and a video clip of ISO for World Standards Day (2022) were presented.
Then, winners in the logo competition for using the logo for the national quality recommendation board were awarded.
The Union minister and guests viewed the posters related to the national quality infrastructure. —MNA
