Capacity of the stadium must be calculated under a long-term plan based on future growing population: Senior General

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing yesterday inspected the upgrading of Zwekabin stadium in Hpa-an, Kayin State.
The Kayin State Chief Minister and the State Minister for Social Affairs reported on the upgrading of the stadium in accordance with the guidance of the Prime Minister and the progress of work.
In his response to the reports, the Senior General said that the stadium must be in harmony with the state level. The capacity of the stadium must be calculated under a long-term plan based on the future growing population. The Senior General invited reports on the construction of a gymnasium at the state level near the stadium, plans for the construction of a swimming pool with a diving board meeting set standard, and implementation of a state-level sports complex for the development of the sports sector and taking training for all sports.
The Senior General inspected the upgrading of the stands at the stadium and gave instructions on the reports.
In the afternoon, the Senior General arrived at the military hospital in Hpa-an where he asked about the health conditions of Tatmadaw members, members of the Myanmar Police Force and members of the Border Guard Force patients receiving medical treatments for their wounds they suffered in discharging the State defence duties. The Senior General then presented foodstuffs to them. After inspecting the hospital, the Senior General attended to the needs.
The Senior General and party then comforted security force member patients receiving medical treatment at the local military hospital in Mawlamyine, asked about the progress of their health conditions and gave them foodstuffs. — MNA
