Central institute of civil service (upper Myanmar) to reopen training courses

Chairman of the Union Civil Board and Board Member U San Myint arrived at the Central Institute of Civil Service (Upper Myanmar) in Zeepin Gyi village in PyinOoLwin and inspected preparation for the institute in line with COVID-19 preventive measures to open civil service training courses that have been suspended since the COVID-19 outbreak.
During the inspection tour, the Chairman met the rector and officials of the institute. He discussed emphasizing the teaching on national defence and security disciplines in addition to the regular courses taught by the institute. He instructed them to train in increasing the spirit of civil service personnel in order to serve the people by following the rules, increasing cooperation, mutual respect, working in an organization, modernizing curricula, and coordinating with related universities.
The Union Civil Service Board will launch a primary officer (special) training course and Postgraduate Diploma Course in Public Service Management from 7 June. Basic training for clerks, basic training for junior officers, and basic training for officers will be opened at the Central Institute of Civil Service (Upper Myanmar). It will continue to provide training within a specified period. – MNA/GNLM
