Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspects military-related matters in Triangle Region Command

State Administration Council Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing meets the high ranking officers of the General Staff, Adjutant-General and Quartermaster-General Corps of the Triangle Region Command yesterday.

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung inspected the activities of General staff, adjutant-general and quartermaster-general corps of the Triangle Region Command yesterday.
First, Commander of Triangle Region Command Maj-Gen Myo Min Tun explained the implementation of region security, law enforcement, security and stability of border areas, seizures of drugs, trading, cooperation works for COVID-19 preventive measures and security, drug seizures, security and appropriate security operation in region command and reopening of schools which were closed during the outbreak of COVID-19.
After hearing the reports, the Senior General talked about his duty assignment in Triangle Region Command where has transportation difficulties. He continued that it should conduct military operations, security and operations successfully in the region. In the COVID-19 period, efforts were made to transport medical supplies in time as the command is in a far-reaching area. In serving the security and defence tasks, it needs to prevent any destructions that affect the national interests. Making anti-drug activities and preventing cross-border crimes mean national interests protection measures.
The military outfits under the control of region command need to be perfect in skills and abilities to attack and should practise in each outfit and the training schools should train successively.
Only if the leaders at different levels have proper disciplines, there would be disciplined and skilful military units. It should hold a fair and good mindset of Commander in mentoring the lower ranking. It should fulfil the rights and welfares of the individual soldier. The commanders need to know the basic concept of individual soldiers so that they can be assigned in the correct sectors and their weaknesses and needs can be also improved. The low-rank members should follow the 60 military codes of conducts strictly.
The leaders need to read and improve the education level of their fellows. Only the knowledge of literacy can distinguish right and wrong and solve individual problems properly. Tatmadaw also makes efforts to improve the education level of the entire Tatmadaw.
The leaders play a key role in creating a skilful army and so the commanders need to serve in accord with 16 leadership qualifications. Moreover, Tatmadaw provides food and accommodation and the health sector of the individual soldier to a certain extent. Therefore, the Commanders who closely control them need to mentor them in improving their living standard systematically. It should behave to become military leaders with ethics of real soldier.
The Senior General pointed out the need to improve the interests of residents, accelerate actions for education and make efforts to ensure regional development. — MNA
