Chinese tourists explore Bagan World Heritage Site on Myanmar-China FAM trip

Chinese tourists seen being warmly welcomed on their arrival of Bagan.

The Directorate of Hotels and Tourism (Bagan) reported that Chinese tourists visited the Bagan World Heritage Site in NyaungU township at 12:30 pm on 16 May as part of a Myanmar-China tourism familiarization trip.
During this trip, they will explore the ancient cultural sites of Bagan, including its historical pagodas and lacquerware production. Additionally, they will plant trees in the region as a commemorative gesture, donate stationery to monastic schools, and witness the sunset scenery of Bagan.
The Chinese visitors on the familiarization trip were greeted by U Saw Win Tun, the chairperson of the NyaungU district administration body, along with team members. They were also welcomed by U Nan Tint, the chairperson of NyaungU township administration body, Deputy Director U Win Aung of the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism (Bagan branch), along with staff members, U Zaw Weik from the Myanmar Hoteliers Association (Bagan zone), along with other members, at the Heritage Bagan Hotel, where they enjoyed traditional Myanmar dance performances. — Dipalin / TRKM
