Drugs seized in some Hopong, Tachilek townships

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force stopped and searched a motorbike driven by Sein Matt accompanied by Ah Jay near Loitawkham village in Tachilek township at 5:50 pm on 20 February and seized 6,000 stimulant tablets.
Similarly, the police force searched a motorbike driven by Zaw Moe in Hopong township at 1:15 pm on the same day and captured 2,000 stimulant tablets. The offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
