COVID-19 vaccination continues for above 18-year-olds in Dawphonyang

An above 18-year-old is receiving the Covid jab in Kachin State.

COVID-19 vaccines were given to the remaining 18-year-olds at the hall of basic education high school in Dawphonyang, Bhamo District, Kachin State at 10:45 am on 4 October.
A total of 165 people including one Buddhist monk, one Buddhist nun, one Christian pastor, seven civil servants, 26 business persons, 128 dependents and one disabled person received the COVID-19 vaccines.
Before the vaccination, healthcare staff and officials made records for the vaccinated people. Next, volunteers and healthcare workers measured the body temperature, blood pressure and oxygen level before the vaccination.
Vaccines were given systematically to the local people, and only those with normal conditions are vaccinated.
With close supervision of Township Administrator U Thein Zaw Oo, healthcare officials and staff from relevant departments and General Administration Department also assisted in the vaccination works as per the guideline issued by the Ministry of Health. – Than Naing Soe (IPRD)/GNLM
