Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers’ Association makes efforts to ensure sufficient oil locally at stable prices during the outbreak of COVID-19. The association distributed the oil at the fairer prices in Pwintbyu Township yesterday.
Township Consumer Affairs Department in-charge U Aung Phyo Wai and staff participated in the distribution of more than 2,500 visses of oil to the locals.
“We distribute the oil for the locals at reasonable prices and not to occur shortages under the management of Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers’ Association. We aim to gain stable oil prices in the market during the pandemic. The oil that we sell is safe as we have FDA certification. We sell the oil at K3,900 per viss. Each person can buy up to 5 visses of oil,” said U Shwe Win Tun, member of Magway Region Edible Oil Dealers’ Association.
Officials will also distribute the oil to Minbu (Sagu), Salin, Ngape and Sedoktara townships in Minbu District. —Ye Win Naing (NyaungU)/GNLM
