COVID-19 vaccines for southern Shan State arrive in Taunggyi

Some 26,400 doses of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines arrived in Taunggyi yesterday morning for Shan State (South).
The vaccines will be provided to people over the age of 65 from 8 am to 4 pm at Pa-O Self-Administered Zone Hall, Home for the Aged and the Basic Education High School in Danu Self-Administered Zone and Town Hall in Kalaw Township, respectively.
The vaccines were transported from the People’s Republic of China to prevent and control the third wave of COVID-19 in Myanmar. – Maung Maung Than (Taunggyi)/GNLM
