COVID-19 vaccines distributed to Lashio by Tatmadaw helicopter

COVID-19 vaccines for the people in northern Shan State arrived in Lashio by Tatmadaw helicopter yesterday evening. Commander of the North-East Command Maj-Gen Naing Naing Oo and department officials received them.
The vaccines will be distributed to the townships in the northern Shan State from 30 July and provided to the people based on priority selection for the COVID-19 vaccines.
According to the District COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment committee, vaccination to people over the age of 65 will be conducted starting from 30 July, at 8 am, at the Lashio Public Hospital, Sin Shwe Li Home for the Aged, Ashay Khar Yoe Monastery and Pan Ote Monastery, respectively. – Ohnmar Cho/GNLM
