PREVENTION and control of Covid-19 being a key part of treatment activities, military doctors, health workers and social organizations are actively working in cooperation for nationwide vaccination. Military aeroplanes, helicopters and cold chain delivery logistic vehicles are delivering Covid-19 vaccines and syringes to various regions and states.
Altogether 17,200 Sinopharm vaccines and 86,000 syringes were delivered to Sittway township and 5,000 Sinopharm vaccines and 50,000 syringes to Thandwe township in Rakhine State. A total of 140 Siopharm vaccines and 700 syringes were also delivered to Paletwa township, 100 Sinopharm vaccines and 500 syringes to Matupi township, 100 Sinopharm vaccines and 500 syringes to Mindat township in Chin State and 18 Sinopharm vaccines to Nay Pyi Daw by military aircraft, respectively.
These vaccines and syringes were accepted by officials and will continue to be distributed to relevant areas. — MNA/MKKS
