Former UNSG Mr Ban Ki-moon and delegation are seen off by officials at Nay Pyi Taw International Airport yesterday.

The delegation led by Deputy Chair of the Elders UN’s former Secretary-General Mr Ban Ki-moon visited the construction project of the Maravijaya Buddha Image in Dekkhinathiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw and viewed the progress of work yesterday afternoon. Next, the delegation departed from Nay Pyi Taw by air in the evening.
Deputy Minister for Defence Maj-Gen Aung Lin Tun, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Myo Htut and officials saw off the delegation at Nay Pyi Taw International Airport. — MNA/KZW
