Deputy Minister for Commerce leaves for 15th VIFA EXPO in Vietnam

Deputy Minister for Commerce U Min Min departs from Yangon for Vietnam to attend the 15th Vietnam International Furniture and Home Accessories Fair yesterday.

A Myanmar delegation led by U Min Min, Deputy Minister for Commerce, left Yangon for Vietnam yesterday to attend the 15th Vietnam International Furniture and Home Accessories Fair, planned to be held from 26 to 29 February at the SKY EXPO Vietnam International Exhibition Centre in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The exhibition will provide opportunities to cooperate among businessmen such as manufacturers, sellers, and buyers of international furniture and home decoration items, hold direct discussions between businessmen, and achieve opportunities for business cooperation to be able to increase the export of Myanmar furniture products to the international market. The Myanmar delegation will attend the fair, study the conditions of coconut cultivation and exports in Vietnam, and discuss issues related to agricultural production technology.
The deputy minister was accompanied by the Deputy Director General of the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization, the Vice-Chair of the Myanmar Fruit, Flower, and Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association (MFVP), the Chairman of the Myanmar Coconut Producers and Trader Association, and its members. — MNA/TKO
