Deputy Minister U Aung Kyaw Tun inspects upgrading works of Bagan-NyaungU airport

The MoTC deputy minister is inspecting the upgrading works of Bagan-NaungU airport yesterday.

Deputy Minister for Transport and Communications U Aung Kyaw Tun met the officials from the eight departments under the Ministry and department staff working in the Bagan-NyaungU Airport yesterday.
At the meeting, officials presented the status of implementation work and further activities. The Deputy Minister provided foods to the staff.
Director-General for the Department of Civil Aviation U Kyaw Soe explained upgrading works of the airport to facilitate the entry/exit of travellers, work of applying nylon bitumen to the current runway and parking lot with the fund of the year. The Deputy Minister added the need to assign a quality control team for paving asphalt concret applying work and night landing facilities as per the set standard.
Afterwards, the Deputy Minister inspected the installation of asphalt concrete mixer, the conditions of construction materials and machinery and the completion of the Fuel Farm of Golden Myanmar Airlines Public Company Limited. — MNA
