Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Chen Hai yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.
They cordially discussed matters pertaining to further consolidation of the existing Pauk-Phaw relations, accelerating the implementation of Myanmar-China bilateral projects on the basis of mutual benefit, the maintenance of peace and stability along the border areas between Myanmar and China, implementation of repatriation of verified displaced persons from Rakhine State and China’s continuous constructive support towards Myanmar development endeavour as well as further enhancement of mutually beneficial cooperation both at regional and international arena, particularly ASEAN and United Nations. — MNA
