DPM UM of MoTC attends 13th collective blood donation ceremony of MPT

Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister General Mya Tun Oo presents a certificate of honour to a blood donor of MPT at Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1000-bed) yesterday.

Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo attended the 13th collective blood donation event of the Ministry of Transport and Communications at the Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1000-bed) in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
At the ceremony, a total of 60 blood donor employees of Myanma Posts and Telecommunications in Nay Pyi Taw donated blood. Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister General Mya Tun Oo, Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win, deputy ministers and officials comforted the blood donors and provided nutritious foods and medicines.
Union Minister Dr Thet Khaing Win presented certificates of honor for blood donors through the General returned gifts.
Similar blood donation ceremonies of the MPT were held at the respective hospitals and blood centres in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Taninthayi, Shan State (East) and Shan State (North), joined by 406 blood donors. MPT has been arranging blood donation events since 2016.— MNA/TS
