The combined inspection team consisting of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force members examined suspect Zaw Lin near the Zaycho car stand on the Mawlamyine-Mudon Road of Zaycho ward in Mawlamyine Township on 10 March and found 1,900 stimulant tablets from him.
On the same morning, the police raided the house of Htu Poh in Kethtike Village-track of Kengtung Township and seized 3,660 stimulant pills and one kilogramme of raw heroin. Moreover, the anti-narcotic agents inspected the motorcycle driven by Aik Sai on the Tachilek-Kengtung Road in Mongkoe Village-tract of Tachilek Township in the same evening and found 1,700 stimulant tablets.
The anti-narcotics task force members also examined the Mitsubishi Pajero driven by Nay Myo Aung accompanied by Thein Zaw and Nyein Ko on the Loilem-Taunggyi Road in Pangwoe Village-tract of Loilem Township and seized 1.21 kilogrammes of heroin on the same day. The suspects were charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA
