Drugs seized in different townships

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force Police searched the house of Win Maung in Sian village of Bhamo township at 4:45 pm on 21 October and seized 1,950 stimulant tablets.
In addition, at 12:30 pm on the same day, a combined team including the Anti-Narcotics Task Force Police examined suspected Tun Soe Pyae Oo (aka) So Pyae Oo in the Aungmingala Express Bus Terminal of Mingaladon township and captured 9,000 stimulant tablets.
Similarly, at 12:25 pm on this day, police captured traffickers: Ma Thandar Oo (aka) Bokepwa and Ma Naw Yin Yin Htoo (aka) Yin Htoo in Aungmingala Express Bus Terminal of Mingaladon, according to the investigation.
At 6:30 pm on the same day, a combined team consisting of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force Police searched a Mark-II car on the Loilem-Taunggyi Road in Loilem township and captured two kilogrammes of Ice and 90,000 stimulant tablets.
According to the investigation, police examined the house of Ma Nan Aye U (aka) Nan Kam Luu in Panglong township and seized 14,000 stimulant tablets.
The suspects are prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA
