Drugs seized in Kawkareik, Monghsat townships

Two offenders are seen along with seized drugs and a motorbike.

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force stopped and searched a motorbike driven by Kaw Soe Lin (aka) Mala at the Kawkareik (Tadakyoe) combined checkpoint at 1 pm on 18 December and seized 5,850 stimulant tablets.
At 3 pm on the same day, Myanmar Police Force examined a motorbike driven by Sai Tun Tit accompanied by Shaehla on the Mogok-Monghsat Road in Monghsat township and found 8,730 stimulant tablets.
Those offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
