Drugs were seized in Patheingyi, Thingangyun and Tangyan townships, according to Myanmar Police Force.
A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force on 22 November stopped and searched a motorbike driven by Kaung Kyaw accompanied by Aung Htun Min (aka) Aung Gyi and arrested Aung Htun Min (aka) Aung Gyi together with 20 kilogrammes of ketamine worth K600 million. Kaung Kyaw ran away while driving the motorbike.
At 1:45 pm on the same day, Myanmar Police Force examined Chit Oo Maung (aka) Aung Naing near Laydauntkan street in Thingangyun township and seized 3,200 stimulant tablets.
In addition, at 2:30 pm on the same day, Myanmar Police Force searched his house in Thingangyun township and seized 10,000 stimulant tablets.
At 5:45 am on 21 November, Myanmar Police Force stopped and searched a motorbike driven by Sai Maung Lu accompanied by Aung Htun on Tangyan-Pansang road in Tangyan township and captured 3,000 stimulant tablets.
The offenders are prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, it is learnt. — MNA
