Drugs seized in some townships

A combined team consisting of the Kachin State Police Force searched a house of Ma Khoung Ja (aka) Eaindra in Sitapu Ward of Myitkyina Township at 3:30 pm on 30 May and seized 0.06 kilogramme of heroin and 1,800 stimulant tablets.
Similarly, at 6:30 pm on the same day, an anti-drug force examined a motorbike driven by Khaing Zaw Latt (alias) Thar Nge on the Hpa-an-Eindu Road in Hpa-an Township and captured 1,800 stimulant pills.
At 6:00 pm on the same day, police searched a house of Ma Yarsmain in Shwezar village of Maungtaw Township and confiscated 9,750 stimulant tablets.
In addition, an anti-drug force searched a room of the hotel in Bahan Township according to information and seized 50 Ecstasy pills and 0.003 kilogramme of Ketamine with Naing Lwin and Hein Thu Soe (alias) Shake at 2:45 pm on 25 May.
According to the examination, police seized Htet Aung Wai (alias) Jason with a Chevrolet car, 4,000 Ecstasy pills, 0.17 kilogramme of Ketamine and 0.49 kilogramme of White/Blue/Yellow colour powder that is considered a psychotropic drug, in Yankin Township at 7:00 pm on the same day.
Moreover, Police Force captured Kaung Sit (alias) Ko Sit with 0.0002 kilogramme of Ketamine, one Ecstasy pill and 0.015 kilogramme of gold colour powder in Myawady at 7:00 pm on 26 May. They were prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law respectively. — MNA
