Drugs seized in Toungoo, Pyigyidagun, Lashio townships

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched a suspected Naing Myint Aung in Toungoo township and captured 5,850 stimulant tablets at 12:30 pm on 1 January.
In addition, at 5 pm, the Police Force searched the house of Ma Kyi Kyi Win on 67th street between 118th and 119th streets in Pyigyidagun township and seized 0.05 kilogramme of opium extract.. and 9,750 stimulant tablets.
At 4 pm on 31 December, the Police searched a Crown car driven by Aung Thet Naing in the No 5 ward of Lashio township and seized 0.03 kilogramme of ketamine from the car.
According to the investigation, the Police Force searched the house of Han Win Shein (aka) Ar Phuu in the No 5 ward of Lashio township at 4:30 pm and captured 162 ecstasy tablets, 0.055 kilogramme of ketamine and 0.425 kilogramme of Happy Water.
The suspects were prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
