Fake News: Security forces burns Laythunkhan, Sapyal villages of Launglon in Taninthayi Region

misleading media outlet, are falsely reporting that security forces burned and destroyed local houses and forcibly robbed gold, money, and motorcycles on 28 December at Laythunkhan village and Sapyal village in Launglon township, Taninthayi Region.
In response to this news, a security official from the relevant area stated that security forces are dedicated to ensuring the safety of local citizens and maintaining peace and stability in the area, countering the attacks at terrorists. Terrorists engage security forces through ambush shootings from citizens’ houses, mine attacks, using citizens as human shields, and burning houses during their retreat. However, the malicious media continues to spread false news to conceal the terrorists’ reprehensible actions. — MNA/TRKM
