Fake news: Tatmadaw attacks with heavy weapons and sets fire to houses in Yanbye, Pauktaw townships

G1

The illegal media outlet Khit Thit Media is spreading misinformation, falsely reporting that Tatmadaw attacked with heavy weapons and burned houses in Yanbye and Pauktaw townships.
Regarding this news, according to authorized officials in the relevant area, Tatmadaw did not attack houses with heavy weapons, nor did they burn them. The damage to the houses were reportedly caused by the AA insurgents, not the Tatmadaw. It is alleged that the malicious Khit Thit Media aims to spread false information about the Tatmadaw, diverting attention from the acts of terrorism committed by AA terrorists. They intend to attempt misunderstandings between citizens and Tatmadaw and tarnish the image of Tatmadaw within the international news industry. — MNA/TRKM
