Goethe-Institut Myanmar will hold a talk event under the topic “The meet Myanmar Photo Archive” for Myanmar photographers at Goethe-Institut Myanmar Auditorium in Yangon from 3:30 pm to 6 pm on 25 November.
The event will offer a chance to explore the photographs of the Myanmar Photo Archive and engage in a discussion, according to Goethe-Institut Myanmar.
The Myanmar Photo Archive possesses the largest collection of independent vernacular photography across the country and aims to provide public access to these materials in history and education fields, and for anyone interested in Myanmar’s visual history, in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Myanmar.
The event will also present a selection of artworks of grant recipients under the Open Call programme of Myanmar Photo Archive and a section for everyone to connect and engage in the discussion. — ASH/KTZH
