The discussion between the government’s Peace Talks Team and the delegation led by Vice-Chairperson-1 of the Pa-O National Liberation Organization-PNLO was organized in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The meeting was attended by State Administration Council Member National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Chairman Union Minister at the Government Office (1) Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, in his capacity as the leader of the Peace Talks Team, SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung, Vice-Chairperson-1 U Khun Htun Tin of the Pa-O National Liberation Organization-PNLO, Joint General Secretary (1) Khun Min Thein and Central Committee member Khun Zwe Hto.
During the meeting, Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and PNLO Vice-Chairperson-1 U Khun Htun Tin made greeting speeches. The attendees discussed peace issues and development-related matters. The discussion will be continued on 18 June. — MNA
