The government is focusing on measures to promote export growth for the development of the country’s economy. The Ministry of Commerce and the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) are collaborating as part of a government-private partnership. On 19 April, 6,600 tonnes of corn seeds were exported from the Ahlon International Port Terminal (AIPT 3). Additionally, aquatic products, rice, and beans are being exported through the Asia World Port Terminal (AWPT 3).
Moreover, 12,700 tonnes of corn seeds and 2,700 tonnes are going to be exported continuously from The Myanmar Terminal (TMT) and Min Htet Min Port (MHM) on 20 and 22 April, respectively. — MNA/TRKM
