Hlawga bird watching tour provides for groups, organizations and schools

For those who wish to explore a wide variety of bird species at Hlawga Park in Yangon, bird watching tour programme has been provided for groups of a minimum two persons as well as for organizations and schools, stated an official of the park.
Some kinds of birds that inhabit the polar region seasonally migrate to the warm equator region in every winter and Hlawga is a place where migratory birds which are rare to see come to for winter migration.

Bird watching tour at Hlawga Park was jointly organized by Birds in Nature (BIN) and Wild Wings Group (WWG) on 11 February this year, in which watching migratory birds and other bird species and identifying and making record of birds included and bird watching enthusiasts participated.
The park recorded 41 species of birds during the tour.
It is a tour programme which enables bird watchers to see local bird species, birds which seasonally migrate for breeding and regional bird species through binoculars and learn about the identification based on their diverse colours and characteristics and connection between bird species and ecosystem, Hlawga Park mentioned on its Facebook Page. — MT/ZS/ED
