The region chief minister explained plans to coordinate the reports of attendees, and development of industries.

Responses to relevant sectors
Union ministers discussed fulfilling the requirements of businesspersons and plans to give technical assistance for industries.

Encouragement for domestic manufacturing
Speaking on the occasion, the Senior General said the MSME businesses are being encouraged for economic development of the State. Only when raw materials can be supplied will manufacturing process be undertaken. Encouragement is being given to production of long-staple cotton at home. A plan is underway to produce cotton for local sufficiency and then export the surplus one to foreign countries. Paddy products can be used in MSME manufacturing process. Likewise, efforts must be made for increasing per-acre yield of oil crops.

Efforts for sufficiency of electricity
Currently, the government is implementing the hydropower projects as well as generating solar power. Moreover, efforts are being made to generate electricity from wind power. If factories can operate with solar power, it will much benefit them. If electricity can be generated sufficiently, the public transportation system can be realized with the electricity. Import of electric car is allowed with reduced taxation. Power stations are under construction for recharging the electric cars on the public roads and major cities.

Encouragement for manufacturing with use of domestic raw materials
It is necessary to primarily use domestic raw industrial materials for manufacturing. The government will help operate manufacturing of tyres based on rubber. Industrial zones are established in districts and townships to be able to produce industrial products. The Senior General expressed his economic guarantee for manufacturing industries to do their businesses without loss. If manufacturing industries develop, the country will improve.
On arrival at Ever Rich International Production Factory and Htoo Thitt feedstuff factory in Hlinethaya Industrial Zone, the Senior General heard reports on work process by officials.
After giving guidance over the reports, the Senior General inspected the products of factories and work process.—MNA
