Insein Township seizes stimulant tablets valued at K900 mln

According to the Myanmar Police Force, a total of K99 million worth of stimulant tablets were captured in Insein township.
Acting on a tip-off, a combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force arrested Soe Lwin (aka) Nuyuk and Chit Win Ko Ko (aka) Nay Zar with a total of 9 million stimulant tablets worth K900 million on Yangon-Pyay Road in Sawbwagyigon ward in Insein township at 6:30 on 12 September.
After interrogating them, the police also arrested Ma Nan Sin Lyan, who is the trafficker of seized drugs, at the Ocean shopping mall in Tamway township.
The police have taken legal action against the offenders and an investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators of the crime chain. — MNA/MKKS
