ISPE FC lose two consecutive games in Asian Women’s Club Championship

The second day of the 2022 Asian Women’s Club Championship in the East Asia Zone group continued yesterday in Chonburi, Thailand, where the Thai club College of Asian Scholars beat the Myanmar club ISPE FC by 2-0.
ISPE FC fought for their last hope of progressing to the next round but suffered another defeat to ensure their exit from the group stage.
ISPE came out with young Myanmar footballers and lost by conceding two goals in the first half.
Most of the Thai national team players participated in the host Thai club team and scored the winning goals in the 15th minute by Erapun and Kanranath scored in the 33rd minute.
There are three clubs in the East Asian zone, the Thai club College of Asian Scholars and the Chinese Taipei club Taichung Blue competing to advance to the next level with three points from each game.
Myanmar club ISPE FC has been eliminated from the group as both games were low-key and did not get any points. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
