Myanmar workers are seen legally going to work in Japan in June 2023.

The Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo released a statement on 31 July, saying that Japanese companies have offered 283 demand letters for 884 Myanmar workers.
The embassy verified the demand letters to determine whether recruiting factories or companies are officially established in Japan and sent the findings and verification results to the Ministry of Labour through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Myanmar workers who want to work legally in Japan can inquire at the employment and labour offices in relevant districts, townships, regions, and states and have to follow the specified procedures. — TWA/CT
