Judgements passed on 8 special civil appeals; 3 special criminal appeals heard

A special appeal tribunal consisting of Union Chief Justice U Htun Htun Oo and Judges of the Supreme Court of the Union U Myo Tint, Daw Khin May Yi, U Thein Ko Ko, and Daw Thin Thin Nwet, was convened yesterday morning at the Supreme Court of the Union and passed the judgements of eight special civil of the Union appeal cases: No 15/2021 (Yangon), 2/2022 (Yangon), 23/2022 (Yangon), 31/2022 (Rakhine), 51/2020 (Ayeyawady), 17/2021 (Yangon), 34/2022 (Shan) and 35/2022 (Shan).
In addition, three special criminal appeals cases: No 8/2022 (Mon), 9/2022 (Bago) and 10/2022 (Bago) were heard following the COVID-19 prevention and control guidelines. — MNA/GNLM
