U Myo Myint added: “Yinma Hall at the Magway University in Magway, the Panya Alinyaung Private School in Minbu, the eastern gate at Zeya Mingala Shweintaung Pagoda in Taungdwingyi, and the township Sasana Beikman in Kanma are the first ones. They will provide shaded spaces for the public”.

The shelters will be open daily from 8 am to 6 pm. Senior citizens will receive ferry services and meals. Healthcare personnel will be available on-site at the shelters.
