Maha Anthtoo Kantha Pagoda to host Matho Thingan, 9,000 oil lights offering

Matho Thingan and 9,000 oil lights offering will be held at Maha Anthtoo Kantha Pagoda for Tazaungdine Festival, according to the organizing committee.
The 17th Tazaungdine Festival of releasing hot-air ballons, initially scheduled to take place on the platform of the Maha Anthtoo Kantha Pagoda in PyinOoLwin from 24 to 28 November, has been cancelled. Instead, Matho Thingan and 9,000 oil lights will be offered during the festival, stated the organizing committee. — TWA/TKO
