Malicious media attempts to discredit security forces

The malicious media outlet, Khit Thit, intentionally spread false news to discredit the security forces, claiming that the combined security forces raided PhalangO, Chaing and Yaykyi villages in Myitchay of Magway Region and took the precious pieces of jewellery and also torched the villages on 27 February.
The relevant security official reported that the information was not valid, and the media spread such false information to discredit the security forces.
A local informed the security forces that the PDF terrorists did their actions in some villages of Myitchay, asked for money and killed the residents.
Following the tip-off, the security forces took security measures, and the PDFs launched attacks and retreated after exploding mine in PhalangO village. Therefore, the malicious media attempted to mislead the people over the security forces. — MNA/KTZH
