MCBA to facilitate cargo retrieval from port terminal

Myanmar Customs Brokers Association (MCBA) will ensure that there is no delay in cargo retrieval from the port terminal.
The Customs Department started using x-ray machines to help reduce time in cargo inspections beginning from 8:30 am on 18 March.
Asia World Port Terminal (AWPT) provides non-stop x-ray scanning under three shifts, and Myanmar Industrial Port (MIP) started practising x-ray security solutions at 7:30 am.
Additionally, officials of the Customs Department, Myanmar Container Trucking Association (MCTA), Myanma Port Authority (MPA), Myanmar International Freight Forwarders Association (MFFA), AWPT, MIP, and MCBA coordinate matters to ensure smooth cargo retrieval and trade flow in a timely manner.
MCBA notified clients to contact those institutions if they encounter any problems. — NN/EM
