MEF President’s Trophy marks 75th Anniversary of Independence Day

The Myanmar Equestrian Federation President’s Trophy horse-riding contest marked the 75th Anniversary of Independence Day at the horse race course of the federation in Dagon Myothit (North) Township in Yangon yesterday morning.
Athletes participated in Myanmar’s traditional horse riding, junior, middle, senior, special galloping, and international trail riding events in the final matches.
Among the spectators were Yangon Region Minister for Social Affairs U Aung Win Thein, Director of Yangon Region Sports and Physical Education Department U Aung Moe and officials.
After the competitions, President U Pyone Maung Maung of the Myanmar Equestrian Federation and executives presented prizes to winners in traditional horse riding, galloping and dressage events, respectively. — Lin Yama/TTA
