MFF pledges to implement five-year plan to develop all football clubs

MFF President U Zaw Zaw urged all to systematically arrange year-wise competitions, visions and preparations for each national football team at the meeting 2/2024 of the Myanmar Football Federation at Novotel Yangon Max Hotel in Yangon yesterday morning.
He stressed the need to form scouting teams, hold U10 and U12 events and football festivals at regional and state levels, organize U15 and U17 leagues, set aims for U17 and U20 championships and Olympic Games via regional youth tournaments, systematically verify athletes for correctness of age-wise tournaments, and develop women’s league and futsal arena.
He also discussed the implementation of the five-year plan to develop all football clubs, media and marketing processes, projects in connection with FIFA and AFC, transparency of spending the budget, and development of stadiums and infrastructures.
Acting General Secretary U Aung Myo Saw reported on the standing committees led by executives of MFF and sought approval for the committees.
Executive committee members discussed the emergence of qualified and talented players from all regions in youth football tournaments, turning out nationally selected players, catching the attention of football spectators over MNL1 and MNL2, league cups, Futsal league 1 and 2, Futsal knockout tournament, women’s league, cooperation of stakeholders for strengthening of football clubs and players.
In conclusion, the federation president urged all to implement the overall development of the sports in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Education in accord with the directives and disciplines of FIFA and AFC for the development of the Myanmar football arena. — Ko Nyi Lay/TTA
