Mid-Year Gems Emporium 2023 continues for third day in Nay Pyi Taw

The third day of the 2023 Mid-Year Gems Emporium was held at Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw. Patron of the Myanmar Gems Emporium Central Committee Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi viewed round pearl lots, jade lots, lots of gems and jewellery stores at the Maniyadana Jade Hall, the venue for the exhibition yesterday morning.
Local and foreign merchants looked around and viewed the displays of pearl, jade, and gem lots in the hall and uncut jade lots outside the hall.
In the Gems Emporium, pearl lots No 151 to 300 are being put on sale under the open tender system.
Tender No 3, encompassing bids from lot No 151 to lot No 225, was opened at 1 pm. Subsequently, Tender No 4 was initiated at 5 pm and officials announced the sale of 150 lots of pearl.
During the exhibition, 300 lots of pearl were sold through an open tender system. On the fourth day, 160 lots of gems were also sold through the same system, with participation of both domestic and foreign jewellers. — MNA/KZW
