Mid-Year Gems Emporium 2023 continues

The fourth day of the 2023 Mid-Year Gems Emporium was held at Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on 23 October.
Local and foreign merchants explored the displays of pearls, jade, and gem lots within the hall and uncut jade lots outside the hall starting in the morning.
During the exhibition, 73 gem lots out of 160 gem lots were sold through an open tender system during yesterday’s exhibition.
A total of 750 jade lots were on display for the fifth day of the exhibition, where they were inspected by local and foreign merchants, and bids were placed in the tender box.
Officials closed the bids for the 750 jade lots at 3 pm. The tender boxes will be opened, and the sale of jade lots will be announced at 8 am on 24 October.
Additionally, 300 lots of pearls were sold through an open tender system on 21 and 22 October.
The 2023 Mid-Year Myanmar Gems Emporium is organized by the Myanmar Gems Exhibition Central Committee from 20 to 28 October at Maniyadana Jade Hall, aiming to generate foreign income and economic benefits for the country. — MNA/MKKS
