Ramayana: A Shared ASEAN Story held in Vienna, Austria

At the ASEAN cultural reception held at the Almanac Palais Vienna Hotel in Vienna, Austria, the Myanmar Embassy presented traditional foods and displayed traditional crafts, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ASEAN Cultural Reception, under the theme of Ramayana: A Shared ASEAN Story was held in Austria to mark the ASEAN Day 2023 on 19 October. This event was organized in collaboration with the ASEAN-Vienna Committee and the Austrian Society Magazine, based in Vienna. Some 200 attendees were served traditional Myanmar food and had the opportunity to view traditional handicrafts on display led by Myanmar Ambassador U Min Thein and staff.
The Embassy of Malaysia demonstrated traditional Malaysian Silat (martial arts), while the embassies of the Philippines and Indonesia presented Ramayana performances. Traditional crafts were displayed, and traditional food was served, representing the diverse cultures of ASEAN countries. — ASH/KZW
